I am trying to use RemoDNC for an Adige LT712D with Windows NT. Currently have a COM cable hooked up to it and am curious on setup of this.

CNC Machines with Windows based operating systems would often have programs installed by the machine manufacturer for doing things like file transfers etc. Those windows programs might often be customized by the machine installer/supplier so we wouldn't know what exact format those programs have in the CNC. It should be quite straight forward though.
In the CNC if you can see the baud rate, Databits, parity etc. Just set the same on RemoDNC. In RemoDNC set the 'Format' to ISO and Mode to 'None' or 'Auto'.
Then put the DNC/Computer into receive mode so it's sat waiting and go to the CNC and Punch/Send a file and see what appears on the computer display.
Sending to the computer might not be the direction you want to go but when setting up a new link it's the best way to make sure parameters such as baud rate etc are correct. |So, do that first and come back to tell us how it went.
