Sending 'to' the CNC

When you click the machine icon a menu appears with big buttons showing options for Sending and Receiving.

Most buttons and icons in the DNC program are 'big' so, as well as desktop use, they're perfect for Windows tablets and other touch enabled displays.

 



When you select the option to 'Send to CNC' a window appears allowing you to navigate around your computer's file system or even you network to select your file.

Once select the file appears in the DNC window ready to send to the CNC as shown on the next page:

Shortcut!: Instead of that method you can just drag a file from any windows folder and drop it onto the machine icon.

  • Select file and Send to CNC
  • Receive from CNC
  • REMO Mode

Most buttons and icons within the RemoDNC program are 'big'. No problem if you're using a mouse and keyboard but these big buttons are perfect if you're using a touch enabled display.

If you select the option to Send to CNC a window appears where you can select a file. It's the same as the Windows Explorer so you can navigate around your computer's folders or even your network to select your file.

Once your file is selected it appears in the window ready to be sent to your CNC as shown on the next page.

 

Tip. There's an even quicker way to select files. Simply drag and drop files from Windows folders directly on to the CNC icon.
